On Saturday 23rd March at the Old School in Kings Caple (10am until 12 noon) the parish Environment Group are holding a ‘Hedgehog Project’ event where there will be information and activities for all ages.
Find out how you can make small changes to your garden to help hedgehogs, learn about hedgehog habitats and appropriate foods. Helen Tyler (Huckleberry Hedgehogs) will be available to answer ‘hedgehog’ questions and there will be face painting and model making, not forgetting tea, coffee and cakes!
The group are running a children’s drawing competition and this afternoon the whole school took some time to learn just a little about hedgehogs and their habitat before creating some fantastic artwork which will be submitted to the Hedgehog Project’s children’s drawing competition.
With such fantastic, colourful and creative lifelike and abstract hedgehog masterpieces to contemplate we wish the competition judges the best of luck in deciding the winners!
