The year 6 show ‘Shrek’ was performed last week on the main stage at the Courtyard theatre. Our three year 6 children joined their peers from other HMFA schools to rehearse over several weeks with their efforts culminating in two shows over two days.
The experience generated many new friendships as children faced a packed audience and coped with the inevitable butterflies. The show was fantastic, with children either taking performing roles, roles in the choir or vital roles behind the scenes. Every year the show allows children to undertake something that they might otherwise never experience and to create memories that they will never forget.
Well done to all the Year 6’s who have again ‘raised the bar’ for the following year group!
