Year 6 pupils from Kings Caple, Sutton, Lord Scudamore, St Weonards, Canon Pyon and Llangrove had an adventurous week at Oaker Wood in the week before half term. As in previous years the children had the opportunity to experience numerous outdoor activities from a selection such as paint-balling, crate stacking, a climbing tower, high ropes and raft building. All the activities are led by qualified instructors from the centre.
It really is an amazing experience for the children to stay away from home safely whilst experiencing new things and making new friends and it helps equip them with some of the skills and confidence that is needed for the move to secondary education.
