In maths, we have been looking at money and recognising different coins in usage. Â We have made different combinations of amounts, added and subtracted money and calculated change given.
In literacy, we have identified the features of persuasive writing and created a text map of a given example. Â We have focussed on our SPAG work recently; exploring the use of apostrophes for possession, identifying prepositions and selecting the correct homophone for what we wish to say.
In topic, we have identified Spain in the world. Â Children have labelled some of its islands, major geographical features and its climates.
In science, pupils have explored animal adaptations and how many species can survive in extreme environments. Â We will move on to identifying food chains in different habitats, before creating some of our own.
