We would like to welcome back the children and parents to school for the new academic year. The classrooms and corridors are again filled with the sounds of children which is just lovely to hear. We really hope that everyone had a fun filled summer with some relaxation fitted in along the way! We always love to hear the children’s tales of what they got up to over the summer… holidays, day visits, crafting, den building and sometimes the quite extraordinary!
Even though it is only the second day back at school the children have all settled well into their new classes. Class and school rules have been revisited and routines are already feeling familiar. We have a very busy term to look forward to, filled with new learning opportunities leading up to what is always a very busy Christmas period.
We would like to offer a special welcome to Mr Hanes who has joined us as the Class 2 teacher. Mrs Hanes is already familiar with HMFA having come to us from Lord Scudamore. She really enjoyed her first day and found the children so welcoming and their behaviour exemplary.
