All the staff at Kings Caple would like to welcome back all our returning pupils and new starters. We hope that you have all enjoyed a restful summer and spent some good times together.
The children have all settled well into the school routine with the older children supporting and helping our new Reception starters and sideways entrants.
Could we take this opportunity to remind parents of the following:
- Please ensure that children come to school with a water bottle and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions (especially as last week seemed to eventually provide summer conditions in even if it is the Autumn Term!);
- Please ensure that if your child would like a school meals that it is booked and paid for (if relevant) via ParentPay. If any parent has issues logging in please let the school office know. Meals need to be ordered by Wed 9am the week before the order is eaten! Please remember that even if your child is eligible for a free school meal as a result of their age or personal circumstances, parents still need to order on ParentPay otherwise the meal will not arrive!
- Breakfast Club and After School Club also need to be booked and paid for via ParentPay. The cut off for bookings is 2 days before (this is just how the system works!). If you need to book last minute on the day please phone the school office and the booking can be taken and added to the ParentPay system.
- News and events are added to our website every 2 weeks and parents are notified via text/email when this is done. This is a good way to keep abreast of key diary dates and what has been happening in class.
