Universal infant Free School Meals – Children Moving into Year 3 in September 2019
As you will be aware, from September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in England became eligible for Universal Infant Free School meals (UIFSM).
We would like to remind parents of children who will be entering Year 3 in September 2019 that their entitlement to a free school meal under the UIFSM initiative will cease. If you order school meals through our food provider, Rumbling Tum, these meals must be paid for. The usual menu ordering forms can be used but payment should be enclosed with the order. Payment details are provided on the menus.
Free school meals for children in Year 3 and above can only be awarded if you or your partner are in receipt of a qualifying benefit. Parents of children entering year 3 will shortly receive a letter with guidance notes and an application form that can be completed should you feel that your family qualifies for ongoing free school meals.
