We hope that you all enjoyed receiving your hyacinths or daffodils that the children planted just before Christmas and lockdown. The bulb planting in Mrs Hook’s greenhouse is an annual event and one that the children look forward to. Given that we were in lockdown at the beginning of the year when we would normally send the bulbs home, we were a little worried that our families would not be able to enjoy them flowering this year. Sometimes things just seem like they are meant to be because this year the bulbs flowered a little later, just in time for our return to school. We thought that you would like to see one of the hyacinths flowering at home in one of the children’s gardens. It looks lovely and shows that spring is really here. Â
