On Tuesday 17th December Class 3 took part in the School Games Sportshall Athletics event, held at the Academy in Hereford.
It was great to see how sports can challenge individuals in different ways and how children learn to overcome disappointments and enjoy their triumphs.
The children took part in a variety of track and field events including:
- Obstacle relay;
- Over and under relay;
- 4 x 1 lap relay;
- Â 4 x 2 lap relay;
- Standing long jump;
- Standing triple jump;
- Vertical jump;
- Soft javelin.
The fantastic news is that Kings Caple qualified for the finals of the Winter School Games on Wednesday 5th February. Well done to all those children that took part!
