To mark Remembrance Day the school made a selection of poppies from plastic drinks bottles. The children cut out the poppies, painted them, added button centres and then displayed them on the school fence for everyone to see. It is a lovely display and allowed us the opportunity to think about the significance of the red poppy and Remembrance Day. Thank you also to all those who saved and sent in drinks bottles for our project.
