Most of you will have noticed that over the Easter holiday further work was undertaken on the bottom playground area. In addition to a general tidy up, the remains of the outdoor classroom was removed together with the debris from the old willow arch and tree pruning. We would like to say a special ‘thank you’ to several people:
- Mr Watkins who gave up his precious time to help remove and transport several trailer loads of waste from school;
- Mrs Talboys, Miss Phipps and their families for giving up two days of their holiday to move items, sweep, clean and generally work hard!
- Mrs Wardle for sorting out the PE shed.
A new deep layer of play bark has also been spread under the playframe and bars and we thank Mr & Mrs Dean for this donation and again Mr Watkins for transporting it to us and for assisting with spreading!
