Pancake Day was Tuesday 25th February this year and Shrove Tuesday gave all classes the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of Lent and the significance of the making of pancakes.
Class 2 in particular spent time exploring Lent and the lead up to Easter. They also debated whether thick or thin pancakes were best and discussed their preferred toppings with chocolate spread, lemon and sugar and syrup featuring highly.
