Over the coming months as we rapidly advance towards the end of the academic year we have lots of off site learning opportunities scheduled into the diary such as Go Ape, The Big Sing, Swimming, Sports Day, Growing Local (for dates please see our News item ‘Latest Diary Dates’).
We appreciate that there will be a lot of letters heading towards parents and carers regarding these events and we will do our best to ‘drip feed’ them so that it is as easy as possible to keep abreast of diary dates.
Please keep a constant look out in book bags and in your emails for letters and return the reply slips promptly as this is really helpful for us.
When children in Class 1 (those eligible for UIFSM) are off site for their lunch, we will provide a packed lunch (which they have already chosen). Parents in Class 2 need to provide packed lunches as usual for their children when they are away from school over lunchtime. The important thing then, is to remember to cancel any hot food ordered by the deadline to ensure that you are not charged!
