In maths, children have been looking at the inverse rule between multiplication and division. Â Pupils have been involved in solving multiplication and division word problems, as well as developing their written methods for these two operations. Â We will move on to money next.
In English, children have been introduced to their new topic which is persuasive writing and have written their cold task on the importance of recycling in today’s modern world.  Pupils will look at the features of these texts and develop their SPAG work on conjunctions, types of sentences, use or either ‘a’ or ‘an’ in sentences and identifying the past and present tense.
In PSHE, pupils have identified what makes a good friend.
In science, children have explored the animals and plants that live in various micro-habitats as well as world habitats. Â Pupils will move on to identifying how certain animals are able to survive in such extreme environments.
In French, pupils will research more about France as a country.
Pupils have been introduced to their new topic which is Spain.  Children have completed their KWL grids on what they already know on Spain and what they wish to find out over the term.  We will look at Spain’s location in the world next and identify some of its geographical features.
