What an amazing start to the year. The new reception children have settled in so well in the first week. Â They are already trying out new activities and exploring the local area on our walk to spot any early autumn changes. Â In class we will shortly be looking at our feature text of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Â The class are going to look at settings of stories using the text to retell the story using actions, story circles and story maps. In maths the class will look at numbers, counting and place value. Â For art we have already done some self portraits and will be moving onto looking at colours, linking it to our environment and nature.
