Most of us at Kings Caple Primary Academy will fondly remember Mrs Hook who was a school Governor for many many years and who sadly passed away in May 2022.
Mrs Hook’s family have donated a memorial ‘cup’ to the school in her memory, which will be known as ‘Mrs Hook’s Cup of Kindness’. Mrs Hook was a big advocate of kindness to others and led by example. Many of the children will remember her for the bulb planting that she annually organised for them and which they enjoyed so much. We will be awarding her cup to a Kings Caple pupil annually to mark outstanding kindness and thoughtfulness to others. The cup will be held by that pupil for a given amount of time before being returned to be awarded to the next child. We will make the award at an assembly in the summer term to which parents will be invited.
