From 8th March and a full return to school, to make things easier for both parents and the kitchen, we will be using the meal orders that parents supplied to The Rumbling Tum for the return we expected in January. This will mean that orders received by the Rumbling Tum will transfer as follows:
- Orders received for w/c 4th Jan will become orders for w/c 8th March;
- Orders received for w/c 11th Jan will become the orders for w/c 15th March;
- Orders received for w/c 18th Jan will become the orders for w/c 22nd March; and
- Orders received for 25th January will become the orders for w/c 29th March (Mon to Wed only as we break for Easter on 31st March).
Orders received for w/c 4th Jan did not include Mon and Tue as we were not due to return until the Wednesday. Therefore, on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th March only a cheese packed lunch will be available and we will ask the kitchen to automatically provide all children who regularly order a free school meal under UIFSM or FSM eligibility with a lunch. If parents who pay for lunches would like to order for these two days they can do so direct with the Rumbling Tum. Hot food will resume from Wednesday 10th March.
If you did not place an order with the kitchen for January, or if you cannot remember if you did, please download a order form from the website clicking on ‘News and Events’ from the top menu and then ‘Parent Newsletters’ where you will see the original order form for the month of January.
ORDERS SHOULD BE EMAILED DIRECT TO THE RUMBLING TUM AS USUAL. The Rumbling Tum will use the most recent order received.
The order form for the weeks after Easter have also been uploaded to the website so that you can order when you are ready, again these orders should be emailed direct to the Rumbling Tum.
