Hello and welcome to the first Kings Caple News Report! The school council will now be writing the fortnightly class updates.
In Class 1, the children have been practising their number formations in Handwriting. Their topic in English is the Pied Piper which they are really enjoying!
In Class 2, the children have been learning place value in Maths. They’ve also been learning about the story of Jack and the Beanstalk in English. For their topic work, they’re comparing London from 1666 (The Great Fire of London) to 2017 (now).
In Class 3, the children have started their work on place value in Maths. They have also just started to learn the story of ‘the lost thing’ for their talk4writing topic in English. The children are working hard to complete their self – portraits in art.
Clubs have started this week so make sure the children have signed up to one if they are interested.
