Welcome back to Kings Caple News Online! In today’s news:
- Year 6 SATs are next week – Year 2s’ SATs are two weeks away;
- Oaker Wood checklist is out;
- Year 4 and 5 have been making lemon mousse cheesecake cups as part of their English lesson;
- Class 3 are going to Weston-Super-Mare (if it’s raining they will go to Bristol instead!);
- Hay Festival is coming up soon – for Year 3s, 4s and 5s – Year 6 will be in Oaker Wood;

Class 1 News
During the week, the children have been studying two stories: Oliver’s Veg and Oliver’s Fruit Salad. Tasty! The children have explored the text
Class 2 News
Class 2 continue to work hard on their topic. The year 2’s are preparing well for their upcoming SATs!
Class 3 News
The Year 6s have been revising for the FINAL week for the important SATs tests that will be taking part next week! The first SAT (Standard Attainment Test) will take place on Monday the 14th of May.
In English, the children have been learning about instructions and they have made their very own lemon mousse cheesecake cups! Year 6 made rocky road cookies.
