We were lucky enough to welcome Mrs Harding into school for World Book Day again this year. Class 1 took part in ‘Black-Out’ Poetry where words in a text are highlighted and used creatively to generate poetry.

Class 2 engaged in ‘Scrap’ Poetry where words are cut out from a text and again used to generate new poetic works.

Both classes also spent time looking at the use of ‘imagery’ in writing.
