We have been informed that the MOMO app has appeared in the UK. This is an app that has inappropriate ‘challenges’ and suicide suggestions. We would like to make parents and carers aware of this app as its contents are of great concern.

It is important that children do not use social media sites until they reach the suggested user age and equally it is important for parents to talk regularly with children about apps and games and the potential risks they can be exposed to.
