To celebrate their 60th Birthday the Herefordshire Wildlife trust are holding a ‘Wild Birthday Adventure’ and they would like to encourage families to celebrate with them. it will be a great opportunity for families to immerse themselves in nature for the day and consider what Spring means for them. Wild Play experts will be on hand to deliver a plethora of nature based activities.
Location: Queenswood Country Park & Arboretum (Visitor’s Centre)
Date: 22nd April 2023
Time: From 10am to 3.30pm (you can arrive and join in at any time)
There will be a host of activities to choose from and the gift shop, visitor centre and adventure playground will be open throughout the day. You can wander and see the first signs of Spring; ‘Make a Wish for Nature’ by writing a message and decorating the ‘Wellbeing Garden’. There will be slots with Wild Play experts who will lead den building, woodland crafts, woodland exploring and snack cooking on the fire. Visit a cosy yurt where you can enter the ‘Herefordshire Wildlife Trust Birthday Card Competition’ for your chance to win a special prize.
If you are still hungry for more forest fun, Queenswood will be offering half price tickets for their Narnia Trail (pick up from the visitors centre on arrival)
