All the staff at Kings Caple would like to wish all the children, their parents and the wider community a very happy and peaceful Christmas. No doubt you are all looking forward to a rest following what has been a long but extremely productive Autumn Term. The term saw us achieve so much together, most notably we:
- said our fond goodbye’s to our late Queen;
- took part in our annual swimming sessions;
- marked Harvest together, enjoying supper and artwork together;
- dressed up and ‘boogied’ for the Halloween disco;
- visited Venetia William’s stables for a ‘behind the scenes’ tour;
- enjoyed ‘Hidden Herefordshire’s’ visit and discovered that an uncommon slug lives in our playground
- dressed up and raised lots and lots of funds for great causes such as Children In Need, the Royal British Legion and St Michael’s Hospice;
- took part in several HMFA sporting tournaments;
- enjoyed an evening of Bingo together;
- visited the panto (thank you again to the PTFA!)
- performed the school Nativity in the church;
- enjoyed a whole-school Christmas lunch (again thank you to the PTFA!);
- took part in cooking and crafting days;
None of this would have been possible without the strong links that exist between the school staff, children, parents, PTFA and the wider Kings Caple family and community. Thank you to everyone who has fundraised, supported and taken part in events, making them all the great successes that they have been.
We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Thursday 5th January 2023, where we will embark on an equally productive Spring Term, full of learning and fun. Happy Christmas!
