Class 2 have been busy explorers! In history, they’ve been finding out about the Spanish Armada and discovering how Sir Francis Drake defended England with his fireships. In maths, they’ve been getting to grips with fractions, learning how to recognise and compare them in fun, practical ways.
As part of National Storytelling Week, the children have also been writing their own raps – combining rhythm, storytelling and creativity. Some fantastic entries have even been submitted to a national competition, with the exciting chance of being performed by rapper and storyteller Amid Kamara. A brilliant week of learning and creativity!
