The year 2’s have been considering the question of, ‘Who was responsible for the loss of lives when the Titanic sank?’ Â They have discussed the different actions of the crew, builders and other ships which had an impact on the outcome after it struck the iceberg. Â After this the children have written their own ideas.
Reception have now started to learn more sounds and are beginning to learn how to blend. Â In maths year 2 are using number facts to add single digits and two 2-digit numbers using different methods. Â
In science the class have explored how the climate across the UK can change and how the north can be much colder. Â In computing the children have now finished learning about online safety and understand how to make secure passwords and keep personal information safe. Â In art the class have used lines and shapes to create portraits in the style of Paul Klee.
