Both Class 1 and 2 enjoyed drumming sessions with Bym Welthy from Bing Bang Bong today. The children learned rhythm and patterns by drumming on plastic oil drums and large cannisters. Innovative ‘shakers’ were also used to add depth to the music. The children learned about ‘beat’ and ‘rhythm’ using songs and followed ‘patterns’ of drumming.
