This term Class 3’s topic is chocolate and to support this the class will be visiting Cadbury World on Friday 10th June.  Pupils will have the opportunity to spend the day exploring the different exhibitions, discovering how chocolate is made, the history of it, where it originated and how it was brought over to this country.

Pupils need to be in school for 8.30am, wearing school uniform and suitable footwear so the minibus and car can leave at 8.45am prompt (please note we cannot wait for those children that are late). We will then arrive at Cadbury World for a 10.20am entrance and finish at 2:30pm, before setting back to school.  We aim to be back at school for 4pm.

Children will need a packed lunch for the day, including a snack for break time and plenty of drink.  If you have ordered a hot meal for your child please cancel with the kitchen to receive a credit. There is a gift shop on site and children can bring some money in a named purse or wallet to spend, for which they are responsible.  Once Mrs Card has made a pre-visit, children will be informed as to how much this should be.

The cost of the trip will be £9 per child and this will cover the cost of transport. The PTFA have kindly agreed to contribute to the cost of the trip and we are extremely grateful for that. Please sign and return the consent forms to school as soon as possible. A copy of the letter and consent form is available under the ‘Newsletter’ section of the website.
