Class 3 have written some extremely evocative letters from Florence Nightingale, taking the reader straight into the battlefields of the Crimean War. In maths we are working on multiplication and division and class 3 have really impressed me with their reasoning skills. In science, class 3 found out about Mary Seacole and some of the cures Victorians used for different ailments. The children made a Victorian remedy which contained lemon and ginger. Three pupils took part in a maths challenge and beat many of the other schools attending. We are very proud of them.
