Class three have enjoyed some challenges this week in their maths and have been investigating problem solving using talk for maths and sharing their ideas and reasoning. Some children have also had the opportunity to complete a maths challenge day sharing their ideas with children across the federation. The class have explored texts and looked at how authors make us of language and sentence structure to create atmosphere, tension and characters.  They have again used talk for reading and shared their ideas being encouraged to explain their thoughts.  In art they have extended their theme of music by considering how pop art can be created using repeated identical images.  They used pastels to create their work.
