Class 3 have been focussing on adventure stories and fractions, whilst growing mould on bread!!
The children have all written their own adventure stories, using our sample text to help them. We have looked at working out fractions of amounts, adding and subtracting fractions and how to convert fractions to make the denominators the same.
We finished our mini science topic by looking at microorganisms. This involved an experiment to measure how quickly mould grew on bread in different conditions. We have now started a new topic on electricity and have had some fun making and testing circuits.
The children are currently in the middle of their own masterpieces as they are creating their versions of Lowry paintings. They are using acrylic paints on canvasses, which will come home with them once they are finished.
