Class 2 visited The Corinium Museum in Cirencester to learn more about the Anglo – Saxons, which is their topic this term.  Children had an exciting opportunity to handle many authentic Anglo – Saxon objects and read about their various uses.  Pupils then took part in a workshop to make an Anglo – Saxon brooch and learn more about their homes, their life in Britain and how they buried the dead.  After lunch, pupils visited the Anglo – Saxon room where they could view many different artefacts of this period.
