In class 2, we have been writing character descriptions using exciting and interesting word choices in our work.  We will soon start to innovate the model text ‘The King of the Fishes’ with our own adaptations and write our new versions out in full.  In maths, we have been comparing and ordering numbers, as well as beginning our weekly times table tests in class.  In science, we have started to look at animal babies and how offspring grow to become adults. We will move on to looking at what all animals and humans need in order to survive next.  In French, children have enjoyed learning vocabulary associated with the body and have counted to twenty in French.  We have started our topic by looking at how the Earth is made and will be focusing on volcanoes in the coming weeks; how they are formed, their affects and case studies relating to famous eruptions.
