Class 2 had a very busy and exciting few weeks on the run up to May half term!

Firstly, we competed in a Tag Rugby tournament with other schools from across HMFA. The children pulled together, demonstrated amazing teamwork and ended the day in an impressive second place!

Then, we returned to Caradoc farm to welcome their new arrivals – the little lambs! It was a lovely experience, and the children enjoyed exploring the farm and finding out lots of information about how to care for the lambs.

In school, we celebrated VE Day. Class 2 created some beautiful artwork in remembrance of this significant event and we welcomed our family and friends in for tea and cake in the school hall.

Last but most certainly not least! Years 5 and 6 took part in their residential. The week began with a fun filled day in Hereford, visiting the cinema, The Burger Shop and then racing each other on an inflatable obstacle course. Then, we visited AllStars Activities where we were treated to an immense day which included activities such as archery tag, zorbing, laser tag, quad biking and capture the flag. Then, to end the week the children spent 3 days at Oakerwood. They completed many adventurous activities including; archery, rafting, team challenges and paintballing!
