Class 2 are finding their new topic of ‘Where does our food come from’ fascinating and have spent lots of time looking at trading responsibly. We plan to visit the local farm in the coming weeks to find out lots more.
In English, we are focusing on setting descriptions and have work hard to produce a fantastic class shared write. The children will now be focussing on writing their very own.
During maths, we have just concluded our money topic with great success. The children were able to answer reasoning and problem-solving questions related to real word situations, which was pleasing.
We have begun our latest music topic ‘Roman Singing’ which provides the children with a timely link back to our previous History topic. These lessons are already becoming a hit, with some fantastic singing on display – well done!
