We have returned from the Easter break with lots of great new topics to explore.Â
In geography the children are really excited to be learning all about Italy and we are looking forward to looking at the features of the country and the food and culture. In mathematics reception have been looking at 3D shapes and the examples they can see in their immediate environment. Year 2 have moved onto fractions and are now seeing the link with multiplication and division.Â
In English the whole class are reading the story of the Cave Baby and Year 2 have focused on the punctuation used and the characters thus far. In science we are moving onto exploring plants and their growth and have enjoyed being gardeners at school, weeding and planting our outside areas, which now look stunning. In design we have completed our project on stable structures and made some fantastic pencil holders.  Â
