In History, Class 1 have been investigating their past and finding out about what life was like for children in the past. Â As part of our Science work, we are looking at how trees and daylight hours change across the seasons and Year 2 have extended their understanding by finding out why the number of hours of daylight varies. Â For Mathematics we have now completed our place value activities and are moving onto addition and subtraction. Â
Reception are doing an amazing amount of phonics work listening to initial sounds and recognising them in different everyday objects. Â The class have been extending their use of adjectives to describe the local area using some superb vocabulary! In English we are going to write our version of The Gruffalo after using story maps to talk through the story.
