In Class 1 we have been busy writing about Mr Grinling and our own version of the story of his lunch. The children have used drama and our role play area to help them develop their writing and be able to retell the story. In maths the children have all been working on multiplying and doubling and halving numbers. Reception have been using objects to help them and have really enjoyed playing the Lighthouse Keeper maths game where the seagulls eat the food from the basket and they calculate how much is left.
We have been building lighthouses and creating electrical circuits to add lights to all the children’s models.
