The whole class have been reading and using the story of Zog and the flying doctors in their English. They have written a note from Princess Pearl asking Zog to rescue her and have described the order of events in the story. Year 2 have looked at using different verbs and adjectives to make their writing more interesting for the reader.
In maths reception and Year 1 have been working on using number bonds and Year 2 have started looking at multiplication. In science the class have learnt about why we have wind and the difference in the length of the day in different seasons and how we get day and night. In art the children have been exploring different ways to create prints, using some of William Morris’ fabrics as inspiration.
For R.E. the children are considering the belief’s of Muslims and in music they have been creating their own accompaniment to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
