To mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day the two classes each spent time learning age appropriate information concerning D-Day, understanding what happened and how it shaped Europe and the rest of the world thereafter.
Class 1 made and displayed a floatilla of boats to recreate the D-Day landings as they occurred on the French beaches. Class 2 spent time discussing D-Day and the events that occurred and they also made medals like those that some of our wartime hero’s were awarded.
