We are now recycling crisp packets in school.  These are forwarded to Lord Scudamore Academy, flattened and bundled into packs of 100 and given to a local contact who forwards them to Terracyle.  This raises money for a local charity. Anglo Saxon Cooking

As part of their ‘Anglo-Saxon’ topic this term, Class 2 worked with Mr Fry to make and cook oatcakes. As you will see from the photograph their hard work paid off and some great results appeared.  The children took the oatcakes home to eat and as a result one parent even asked for the recipe!

Easter Assembly

We will be holding an Easter Assembly on the last day of term – Friday 12th April.  The assembly will be held at the church and will be led by Tim Starling. It will begin at 1.15pm.  School will finish at 2pm on this day.

Red Nose Day

The school will mark Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March. Children are invited to wear something red and bright on the day and to bring in cakes for a cake sale in aid of Comic Relief.

Pancake Day

To mark Pancake Day, Class 1 will be making toppings on Tuesday 5th March and Classes 2 and 3 will be cooking with Mrs Watkins.
