Nuts in school
Please could we remind all parents that nuts should not be brought into school in children’s lunchboxes or as break-time snacks. We have a child in school who has a nut allergy and therefore would ask for your co-operation in maintaining Kings Caple as a ‘nut-free’ environment. Many thanks for your understanding.
Playframe
You may have noticed that the playframe in the playground is currently out of bounds to the children. A recent inspection found that the rope handle needed replacing and we are currently awaiting a replacement.
Guitar Lessons
The Kings Caple peripatetic guitar teacher has spaces for children who wish to take up the instrument. If you think that your child may be interested, please contact the school who will put you in direct contact with the guitar teacher.
Harvest & Creative Afternoon
The Harvest Festival will take place on Wednesday 18th October at Kings Caple Church at 5.30pm. You are then welcome to come back to school once the service has finished for our Harvest Supper. Kings Caple Primary PTFA Meeting
A PTFA meeting will be held at school at 3pm on Wednesday 27th September. Harvest and other key calendar dates will be discussed. Please come along and support the valuable work that the PTFA does if you are able to.
Kings Caple Open Day/Prospective Parent Visits
We have decided not to hold a specific ‘Open Day’ for prospective and current parents this year.  We would be delighted to welcome anyone who would like to look around the school for Reception 2018 entries at their convenience.  Please contact the school to arrange a convenient date and time.
Uniform and PE Kits
Please could we ask parents and carers to ensure that all items of uniform and PE kits are labelled with the children’s names. Â It makes it very much easier for staff to reunite clothing items with their owners! Â Thank you for your co-operation.
