All parents of children in Class 2 have received a letter regarding the class trip to The National Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon on Thursday 3rd March 2016. Not only will the children visit the museum and see the extensive range of artefacts, they will also see the Roman gardens and courtyard together with the amphitheatre and baths.  In addition, the PTFA have very kindly agreed to fund a workshop – thank you PTFA!  The workshop will provide an opportunity for the children to dress up as Roman soldiers and provide them with an insight into how soldiers lived.

Children need to be in school at 8.20am prompt for an 8.30am departure (please note that the minibus cannot wait for those children that are late).  The trip will return to Kings Caple for 4.15pm.

Children will need waterproofs and a warm coat, a packed lunch and plenty of drink.  There is a gift shop on site and children can bring some money in a named purse. We recommend no more than £5.00.

The cost of the trip is £10 to cover transport. Please sign and return consent forms with payment to school.  Thank you!
