February 2018
We have another busy few weeks at King Caple!
Three of the Year 6’s took part in a county-wide debating team and competed extremely well. The judges were full of praise for their speeches and delivery and all three were awarded a medal. The behaviour of Class 3 was excellent.
Kerry Chambler from The Cats Protection League came to school to deliver an assembly. Kerry told the children how to care for a cat and what to do if you find a stray cat in your area. Kerry also told us how to smile at a cat! Thank you for the donations, Kerry was very grateful for these. Kerry sent an email to say how polite and attentive the children were; she thoroughly enjoyed her visit and said that Kings Caple is a truly lovely place.
The PTFA met this week. They continue to work hard to raise funds and put together fantastic opportunities for the pupils.
On World Book Day, Antonia Cook will be working with the pupils on storytelling and drama (thank you to the PTFA for covering the cost of this). We are asking the children to come to school dressed in pyjamas!
