Hello and welcome to the Kings Caple News Report.
In Class 1 they have been looking at place value and working with numbers beyond twenty in Maths. In Science they have been looking at seasonal changes – particularly climate and plants. Also in Drama they have been role-playing the Pied- Piper and going into classrooms! To develop their writing they have added adjectives to describe the characters and place.
In Class 2 they have been solving Place Value problems in Maths. In English they have been writing letters to the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk. In Topic they have been debating whether to live in the country or city.
Class 3 have been boxing up the story of The Lost Thing. In Art, they have been completing their self-portraits which look very good indeed! In Topic, the children have been learning about WW2 and writing recounts about the Battle of Britain.  We’ve also been learning diet and sleep in our Science lessons.
