This term Class 1’s topic has been water and to support the children’s learning, a class trip has been arranged to Madley Environmental Centre on Tuesday 11th July 2017. Pupils will have the opportunity to spend the morning exploring and investigating pond life. There is also the opportunity to see real life bog babies, having read the book called, ‘The Bog Baby’.
Pupils will need to be in school for 8:30am, wearing school uniform and suitable footwear, on Tuesday 11th July so the minibus can leave at 9am prompt. We will then arrive at Madley and complete our activities finishing at 12.00pm, before setting back to school. If the weather permits we will picnic at Madley, otherwise return to school for our picnic. If you have ordered a cooked meal for lunchtime, this will be changed to a cheese packed lunch for this day only.
Children will need a waterproof/warm coat and wellies in case of rain.
The trip is free as the PTFA have kindly agreed to cover the cost. Letters will be sent home – please sign and return the consent form as soon as possible.
