Class 1 are looking at information texts this week and using their knowledge gained from planting seeds and potatoes in class.  They have been writing different instructions and looking at model texts to understand the features that make a good set of instructions.  In maths the year 2 are finishing off work on time and moving onto understanding data and ways to record data, using pictograms, tally charts and bar charts.  Reception are working hard to find number facts for addition within 20.

In Science the children have been looking at seeds and exploring which parts of a plant you can eat.  We have finished our models of the leaning tower of Pisa and in geography, the Year 2, have created beautiful maps showing the physical features.

In computing the children have finished their books on book creator and shared them with parents in our assembly last week.  The children are now moving onto data analysis and using programs to show data.
