We’ve had a fantastic start to the new school year, and it’s been wonderful to welcome the children back after the summer break. They have settled in quickly and are already diving into their learning with great enthusiasm.
In Maths, we’ve been exploring place value, laying a solid foundation for the term ahead. In English, the children have been learning how to write persuasive letters – and they’ve certainly shown they know how to argue their point! Our class reading book is The Train to Impossible Places, which has really captured their imaginations.
In Science, we’ve been investigating mixtures and how to separate them – a hands-on topic that the children have really enjoyed. We’ve also started ukulele lessons, which are proving to be a big hit!
