It is hard to believe that the children have been back in school for almost two weeks – where does the time go? We very much hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing summer.
As it is the start of a new school year please could we take this opportunity to remind everyone of the following:
- As we advance into the Autumn and Winter, children need warm outer wear for playtimes and outside learning. Hats and gloves will be needed as the weather becomes colder.
- Children need to bring a water bottle to school daily
- Any snacks that children bring into school at breaktime should support our healthy eating ethos. Please do not send in sweets, biscuits or chocolate. Healthy options include fresh or dried fruit, vegetable sticks or bread sticks.
- Bookbags/rucksacks should be brought to school daily for the children to use to transport items between home and school. Please remember to check bags for letters and school communications on a daily basis. Similarly, we check/ask the children to check their bags for completed forms.
- Contacting school – if you have a query or would like to speak to a member of staff please email: admin@kc.hmfa.org.uk or give us a call on 01432 840267. We will direct your correspondence to the appropriate staff member and endeavour to answer your queries as soon as we can. Please can we ask that as Miss Phipps is not in the office on Thursday afternoons and Fridays that any urgent queries that cannot wait until the following Monday are telephoned through to school or passed on to staff personally at pick-up or drop off so that we can address them and respond accordingly- thank you!
