Today (11th December) the whole school took part in a ‘Winter Walk’ around Kings Caple village to raise funds for a charity that is currently very close to all out hearts – the Little Princess Trust. Children and staff dressed festively and collected donations from around the village. In total we raised £149 in cash.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the event and to all those who kindly donated to this very worthy cause. For those who are less familiar with the charity, the Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancel treatment or other conditions. They also fund childhood cancer research searching to find kinder and more effective treatments. Further details can be found at:
