Maylord Orchards are holding a free event for World Book Day on Saturday 9th March between 11am and 3pm. Details below:
- Children can come in their WBD Character outfits (prizes to be won for best dressed)
- FREE Disco 1pm to 3pm with quizzes and spot prizes
- FREE Face painting and balloon modelling
- FREE Educational workshop with a Children’s book Author (limited spaces, but can just turn up on the day) times to be confirmed
- FREE pre-loved books giveaway (voluntary donations to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity)
- Candy Floss, sweets, festival braids hair makeover, food & drink (chargeable)
- Make and take your own bookmark workshops (small charge)
- Meet and join in the fun with children’s book characters
- Meet Children’s book Authors –
PLUS THERE WILL BE SOMETHING FOR ADULTS TOO – Meet an Adult books Author and chance to purchase her psychological thriller books and have a chat, Also, our pre-loved adult books table to take away a book for FREE (voluntary charity donations)
· Judging of the colouring/drawing school competition with the Authors and prizes to be won.
On the run up to the event, Maylord Orchards will be posting on their socials about the event, with competition book giveaways to collect at the event.
